Default New CAI Installed.

Just Installed my Steeda CAI intake and custom tune from Brenspeed last night. My question is when tapping the throttleI hear a sucking noise. Is this just the air being sucked into the filter?

How lightly are you tapping the throttle? There is a noticable sucking noise that comes from the C&L and I would guess it'd be the same with the other CAIs out there. Double check all of your connections just to be sure you don't have a leak or loose connection.

Normal and yes it is the air being sucked in. You never heard this with the stock air box due to it being enclosed.

that noise that sounds like air being sucked in? its air being sucked in......its a very good thing.

now you just have to tap the throttle, rather than put your foot to the floor.
