Default Window tint Please read

I want to sayif you are planing to tint your windows please buy the moleskin kit for the windows on the doors it will save it from scratching. I which I had of known before mine got scratch the first tme it cost me 150.00 to do them over. But I put the kit on this time. There is nothing on that plastic wiper channel know wonder the tint got messed up. Damn[:@] can"t the care companys put some type of felt on. Ps If you going to install it yourselfjust take the whole door panel off its not that hard and it much easier to get the track out.

There are many threads on the problems with window tint and having to redo it, what the cause is, etc. There is a 5+ page thread in the technical section that has the install process and other various storiesfrom people.

It sucks, I know how he feels because I had to retint mine about a year ago. I didnt know about the moleskin the first time, but used it the second and the tint is holding 100 times better than before.

Is that more clear for you?

Is Ford aware of this problem? I'd like my dealer to do it for me.
