WHICH TUNE?!

RE: WHICH TUNE?!
The only reason not to get 93 is if you can not find that octane. Get the highest octane tune that you have available. If you have only 92 then you can get a 92 tune. Asking for a choice between 89 or 93 is not a fair question when you have all many octanes available. And comparing Brenspeed to EVO only is also going to end up one sided. Just my 2 cents.

RE: WHICH TUNE?!
I'm pretty sure it was b ama. From what he told me Doug spent most of the time at the trade show asking question after question regarding the tune.Like I said ALOT of people have come out of the woodwork claiming to be experts on tunes. But the bottom line is they copy the tune from another but don't truley understand it. Where were all these guy's 4 years ago?Do you want someone tuneing your car that is basically just feeling there way through it ? I could buy a boatload of unprogrammed flash tuners steal one from someone else and program all of them.It doesn't make me an authority on tuning 05+ Mustangs though. I want to know whoever is working on my car knows what he is doing and why he is doing it.My information is second hand I have never delt with B ama personally so I shouldn't have been so quick to degrade him. However I'm just trying to look out for my Mustang Brothers

RE: WHICH TUNE?!
I only have experience with the Evo JLT package, but here's my 2 cents; Their 93 octane tune kicks a$$! Runs great, no issues and great price at $525. And, if you're in the area, stop by for a dyno run.
I have the 87 and 89 tunes as well but haven't tried them and I don't think I ever will, don't really see any reason to.

I haveEVO 89 oct tune, EVO 93 Xtreme tune, and B amachips 93 torq tune loaded on my X-cal 2
Evo sucks. B amachips was a BIG difference. Alot of guys over on allfordmustang.com said they couldn't squeeze much more torque or hp out of the car with the B amachips tune which is what made me look into getting one and I'm very happy I did. His shift points are awesome, at least with the torque tune, I don't know about his other tunes.

Well, that statement is hypocritical, either you felt a difference or you didn't. WHICH ONE IS IT

I felt no difference between the 87 and 93 tunes.. in fact.. I think the 87 is "torquier" ...
