Cali edition scoops

Cali edition scoops

Ok,I have an 07 Cali GT. My side scoops seem to be coming off. When I looked closer, it looks like they are installed using double sided tape. I have an appointment with Ford next week to get them fixed. Has anyone else had this problem? If so,is it reoccuring or a one time bad luck thing. If it is reoccuring, is there a way to fix this short of removing them?

I don't have an answer but I saw those scoops available somewhere and they were saying that they used tape and hard fasteners. They shouldn't just "come off".

I wonder what they mean by hard fasteners.I can see into the scoops and just see the tape come off. Once I find out more next week at the dealer I will post the results.
