Bluetooth
I posted this in electronics discussion, but no one answered. I was wondering if anyone had installed a bluetooth module in their car to work thru factory speakers. Not a new HU with bluetooth but something seperate. If so, is it good/bad? Pics? Thanks

RE: Bluetooth
I'm not sure, but I installed a Pioner 980BT...it's in the HU, I know that's not what ya asked about, but it works like a charm.... I hate those stupid ear pod things ya see everyone wearing.....I have one of those too but that is now for the other car...
Definately worth it IMO...and I'm not a big cell user...i mean I use it but I am by no means on it a lot..I'm not a gabber on the phone...
It's better than the ear piece thing, cause you can turn it up plenty loud thru the speakers....
A few of the best things are, it automatically switches on the HU for incoming and outgoing calls, and the BT connection is only live when the car is on, so you turn the car on and within 5 seconds it makes the connection, turn it off same thing... which is cool cause using the ear thing, I would never wer it unless I was on the phone...so when I was parked close by, say at like a store or something and I'd get a call, i'd have to fumble thru the phione to transfer the sound to the phone... Seems like a small thing to complain about, but it it is a benefit...

RE: Bluetooth
I got this one http://sewelldirect.com/wireless-blu...eakerphone.asp it has its own speaker and just clips on the visor. Works pretty well for cheap. It has a rechargeable battery and lasts a long time. Works with the voice dialing on my razor phone also. Been pretty happy with it so far.
