anyone have a video of what the shaker hood system does or know of a video that shows this?

 

no need for a video. It sucks air from the top of the hood, routes it to the air box, then to the engine. Works like a cold air intake. Doesn't really have a ram air effect because the airbox is still open to the fender so even at speed, it doesn't pressurize the inlet. Mostly cosmetic.

 

yeah..a video wouldn't show you much...
