New Stripes
I dig it. It's different and very "old school" NASCAR. Do what you like, that's all that counts. You had the guts to try something original, bonus points in my book. I also agree that a scoop in the middle would help complete the look... maybe a flat black shaker? Did you get the black outs for the turn signals as well? If so, put them as well. I tried something different as well, flat black stripes on a black GT (you gotta look at thecenter of the hood, they are there and runall the way down the frontbumper.) I suck at picture taking.

I'm more partial to closer wider stripes as you can see, but those are starting to grow on me. I remember the days when it took 454 cu. in. to make 450 hp, oh wait, no I don't I wasn't born for another 18 years
well, the 281 c.i. was a last minute thing I told him to do. Just didn't want a "me too" look. The shops plotter is pretty sweet, it can write anything you want in it in any font. Thanks for the comments guys, now I have to work so I can get some more go fast parts (and a hood scoop from what I hear)
I like it. I agree with the others who said that a scoop would look good. Flat black was a good choice too.. seems to be a good reminder of older muscle cars. Do you have a black out section on the rear decklid between the lights? That, and a scoop.. and some quarter window louvers.. and you'll have one awesome 'Stang! Nice job!
I don't have the blackout panel for the back yet. I am going to order just the piece that goes between the taillights and not on them, black accents good, black overkill bad. what does a shaker system cost installed? Anybody around Memphis who does tradeouts. I run a car audio shop and will swap product/labor. thanks
