Default New Driveshaft

For those with the new aluminum driveshaft what did you pay for install? Guy quoted me 572 for the shaft and 225 for labor. Fair or should I move on?

Doesnt sound totally out of line but labor could be lower. What kind of shaft and do you have the suspension mods you will need for the new DS?

Part price is fair, but the labor seems way high. Should be a fairly simple install. At most $100.00 for labor.

I have the UCA and LCAs just need to install the LCAs when I install the shaft. My car was on a ramp lift and I was checking for exhaust rattle when my muffler guy looked at the shaft and mentioned it looked bent. The OEM two piece looked like it was bent at the joint. Guess I should have put the LCAs on when I lowered it 6 months ago. DAMN!!!!!!

+1 Labor is way high, a terrible mechanic could install a driveshaft in less than hour.
