I'm about to order a couple of my birthday presents (or presents for my car, however you want to look at it) and I have a question about hood scoops.

OEM or Roush?
Why one and not the other?

I would really appreciate everyone's input as fast as possible, like in the next hour to an hour and a half.

roush since you can get it prepainted for about the same cost as the OEM unpainted.

 

I like the Roush better. It's a little wider and it follows the curve of the hood lengthwise better than the stock scoop. I bought mine prepainted and it matched perfectly.

I would say Rou**** has a way meaner look to it, rather than the stock one.

I like my stock one but it came on the car so I didn't have to worry about painting. If you can get the ROUSH pre-painted for about the same price as the OEM unpainted, definitely do the ROUSH unless you really just like the look of the OEM that much better.

 

Sounds like Roush it is! Another question...should the stripes go under the scoop or over the scoop?
