Clear turn lens?
I tried the search function, but it is out dated. I am looking for the all clear lens. Where is the best place to buy? What are the best bulbs going? This is for the 07 Gt

What I mean by out dated is the the new lens now have the amber color to them. All the ones I saw in the search were clear, but I couldn't find out who was still selling the all clear ones.

Got ya. Jegs has the amber colored ones now but the stangmods does not as far as I know.

Just made sure to contact the online store or eBay seller or whoever first to confirm that they're actually the all-clear ones. I've heard of a few people ordering them when they're supposed to be 100% clear and getting the ones with the amber reflector in them because the site or eBay page wasn't updated. Apparently the ones which are 100% clear are illegal or something like that, so a lot of places have gotten orders to stop selling them and replace them with the amber reflector ones.
Even with the amber reflector they still look better than the 100% amber signals, but just so you don't end up being disappointed or pissed off or whatever when your "clear" signals have an amber insert, check with the seller first. |

Ebay ones have problems with leaking because they are cheap. You might get lucky sometimes though

Sorry to tag onto the thread, but I was thinking of getting these for my car to go with the lights in the grill and the rims. Do you guys think that they would kill the retro look of the car? I was originally thinking of going with black rims, but do to money constraints, I'm going to stick withthe onesI have and am now thinking about gettingthese...thanks for your input!

does anyone know how to replace those red side marker lights right behind the rear wheels on the side of the car? cuz i bought a pair of white ones with my turn signals but idk how to put the rear side markers in.

If you're gonna do it, go with the all clear. Here is mine with the amber inserts....[:'(][:'(] Still pissed I got these when I ordered full clears, but that's another thread......[:@][:@]

E-Bay 55 bucks....They were exactly like the Stock ones...But clear lense....

I think that the clear+amber turn signals aren't that bad, they are better than stock any way, but yes, all clear is better still. Does those clear or clear+amber turn signals have DOT approval marks ? I'm just thinking as I may move to Europe in summer and of course I take my Mustang with me. But when in registration inspection, they WILL look for the DOT approvals of the lights to pass the car, so I would like to be sure that the lights are ok. |

Sorry about the old post, but does anyone know if the stangmods clear turn signal is still clear? Also it says on stang mods that you need one of each of the clear bulbs for the signal, but what about the side marker? Do you need a bulb for it and if so what is the number? Thanks yall

Thanks yall So they're good. And apparently the stangmods lenses don't leak, so that's cool too. They also have a "package deal" which includes the lenses and the stealth bulbs, so you don't have to go shopping around wherever to find bulbs. As for the rear side markers (I assume that's what you're talking about), I believe they're just reflectors, so they don't need bulbs at all. I don't have them, so I'm not 100% about that, but that's my understanding. |

Not sure what state you're from, but in some states they'll give you a ticket for not having an amber reflector on the side... just thought I'd let you know.

The side markers do have a light and you can just put a cover over those...no new light..
you DO NOT have to have the amber reflectors....that is why you get the stealth bulbs. They light up the appropiate color thus making them legal. |

Thanks Howarmat. Just so I am clear the side marker does not need a new stealth bulb, and if it does what bulb #. BTW I really like the look of your car!! I was considering doing the H pipe you have. Are you happy with it? Thanks for the help

the rear side markers i just replaced the outer cover.....and I just replaced the 2 main bulbs in the bumper cover lights with stealth bulbs and left the other 2 bulbs the same |

The red ones on the side pop out with a small screwdriver but be careful not to pry against the paint. Really easy to replace. I think I ordered the clear front markers from American Muscle. They are pain to put in. Really look great. Amber bulbs are easy to find for them, pretty much any auto parts store now has the amber bulbs.(10.00)

I got the ones from Revotec.They look exactly like the OEM ones. The lens and reflectors are the same.I used sylvania silverstars....chrome when off and amber when lit.
