Does anyone know if I can update my SCT II firmware without looseing my tunes. Especially worried about my stock tune. I want to get some new tunes E-mailed to me & they all say to have the latest firmware that supports ll3 files.

 

I'd say best thing to do istune your car back to stock, that way you will not lose that program. Then you could safely upgrade the firmware.

 

I just updated my sct cal2 with no effects on my custom tunes, just added Brenspeed 91 oct, what a difference from the SCT canned tune.
