H pipe for a nice deep exhaust note. I am trying to find an aftermarket catted h pipe to go along with headers but the only ones I have seen are the JBA ones and they say for use with their headers only. [:@]

pypes h-pipe is the only way to go and Brenspeed seems to be the only place that sells it.

MRT makes a hi-flowcatted H-pipe. They're H-pipe crossover is of a larger diameter than the stock H. But I want to see what kinda sound and power is gained for the 499 they are charging. I'm thinking it will be minimal at best. They do have a cheaper 409 SS version for $449 however.

I love the sound of the magnapacks and the x-pipe. Feels and sounds like NASCAR but a tad quieter. Hardly no drone except at 1800 RPMS and goes away quickly. Any long tube header will do as long as it is 304 SS....Kooks and American Racing are great.

What about the magna pack from magna flow and their x-pipe? Or the granatellie headers, x-pipe, and cat-back? (those compared to the LM's and x-pipe)

Ok, so the magnapack with mrt direct h-pipe/magna flow x-pipe, or the loudmouths with mrt direct h-pipe? Does anyone know what horsepower rating these setups can withstand? Really need some help here because I have to make a decision in the next few days

If you're planning a very high horsepower application, then you'll want long-tube headers with cutouts welded on after them and then an off-road pipe. There are plenty of terminator cobras running around with high-flow cattedx-pipes (seem to be more popular than h-pipes) and [insert favorite muffler here]. With mods, a lot of those are putting down 450-500hp to the wheels. What's your future plans? If you're really trying to plan for the future with minimal changes, then don't get a mid-pipe until you get long-tubes.

Right now, i just want a deep, loud exhaust sound. This summer LT's will probably come on, or they may now, depending on how much we get from the accident (I got rear ended) and CAI is this summer with a tune. In a year or two I'll either turbocharge or supercharge...but more than likely turbocharge it
