Default O/R X pipe or UDPs?

Hey guys,

Mods are in my sig.

Seems about the same price $180 for an O/R X pipe from Brent or $200 for UDPs

Which would you get and WHY?

Sound is subjective so if you are going to say it sounds like crap that's not the kind of reasons I am looking for. I'm in a state that doesn't have emissions testing so cats aren't a problem.

The O/R X pipe will have fumes out the *** from what I understand and very loud furthermore they are not legal for street use. Underdrive pullys do work because I have them .

UDP's are garbage. You MAY gain 1-3 hp, but they're crap. Get the x-pipe and you can maybe see 6-8 rwhp. Also the sound with the o/r x is fine, and without emissions your golden.

both are little increase and i just removed my xpipe due to the noise and leaks. so if you do be very careful and you will have a higher drone on the highways.

I've heard those pipes do rattle and everything else. If you need a pipe get something with quality or else live with what you paid for.

Daniel,

The 4.10s are "very nice"! (in Borat's voice)

I haven't noticed more than2-3 drop in mpg when just crusing on the highway at 80. But that increase at the pump is compensated for much better low end pull and third gear is nearly what is should be.

Just called my tuner and the rear O2 sensors are already turned off so no added time or expense getting that straightened out.

Brent said an O/R X pipe will net 8whp more at peak but may lose a little torque down low. He said the UDPs should do about the same.

I know some said the UDPs are crap and you don't get more than 1-3whp so which is it? Anybody with before and after dyno runs?

I think the UDPs generally add more than 1-3 HP..........many many people have and swear there is a good deal of gain.
