How deep are the rear wheel wells in our mustangs. (05-07) and how wide a tire can you fit in them without rubbing or hitting on something.
A little of your expertise would help.
I'm thinking of 18's 19's and 20's but I'm not sure which would give me the most bang for the buck. 18's front 19's back?
I would like as much tire width as possible.

 

IMO i wouldnt go past 18's, 18x9 in the front n 18x10 in the back

 

I realy want to know the size tires to use.

 

You can fit any size you want in the rear. The tire will stick out more the wider you get basically. People have 315 in the back I know that for sure.

 

What size did you pick for the back of the beautiful black mustang? That car is sweet.

 

The car I have came with 235/50/18 tires. I think I could fit 285/45/18 on the rear. But Im not sure.

 

Currently I have 265/35/18 all around. Next time its going to be 285/40 or 275/40 rear and 265/40 for the front.

 

I've got 285/40s in back , and 255/40s up front. 18 x 9.5 rims. There is still more room, but I'm happy with that size
