Default CD PLAYER SHAKER 500

Every once in a while when I start my car the CD Player starts going hairy......I mean makes noise as if it is trying to eject a CD, even though there is none inside, This happens when the radio is off and right after I start the car?
Anyone else experience this?

Does the battery sound weak when it starts. Sounds like something it does when a battery is disconnected or the head unit gets unplugged

Make people have had problems with the shaker. The dealer will replace under warranty.

Definitely a dealer issue to be resolved.

Mine was! I had a completely seperate problem though.....I was getting the DTE FLI DATA ERR, and the gauge cluster was going crazy!! It was causing quick battery drain. Dealer just replaced it under warranty. No problems since, but my shaker 500 was doing exactly that.

I could tell from just reading the title that you'd have a Shaker 500!!! I'm surprised it's still screwing up in a 2007! But hey, it's Ford!

They are supposidly an improved version??I'm not sure because this happened 2 times only in 3 months so before I go to the dealer I will try and see just what is happening because I will only get a "NO FAULTS FOUND" from the dealer!![sm=boosign.gif]
