This thread is for us that can no longer find a hurst short throw because of the recent buying out of hurst by b&m. I know MGW just came out with one and there's also the tri-ax but I really wanted the Hurst. About 2 weeks ago there was a thread when one of you guys posted every website that was selling the hursts and I've called them all, every1 is on backorder. LmPerformance has been waiting on 100 since december. Anyone with other short throws post pics of what you got and tell a little about it and if anybody wants to sell a hurst, consider it sold andPM me please. The Hurst could be found at some places for 175 and all the others are 250 and up so also post if you guys know of any specials on any brand shifter.

 

Check out EBay. I picked up a brand new Hurst there last week. Haven't really had time to do a write up of my opinion of it, but suffice to say that I am very pleased with how it looks and functions. The first time I hit the 1-2 shift with the Hurst I just started laughing. The throw is very short compared to stock, but there is a little more effort required. If really want one, I'm sure there are still a few floating around.

The last I knew, Jegs still had a few. It's not easy to find on there, but if you look hard enough, they should be there.

You will love the Hurst shifter, I put mine in about 2 months ago. Instructions are straight forward. Make sure you have Loctite.

does anyone have one installed say if in gear, can you push on it alittle and it will move just slightly.
