I couldn't find a satisfying answer in the search.......What RPM should a GT stick, STOCK with 3.55's shift into second gear at when you are trying to get the fastest quarter or in an all and all out race??[sm=feedback.gif]

 

i shift at 6k....and 6500 all other gears but thats with a cai and tune.but id like to hearsomeone who has ran mid 13's stock chime in on this thread, im curious myself to how people have been getting times like 13.3-13.4 bone stock.

 

6300-6500 is ballpark.

 

i shift at 6100-6200

but somtimes i ride 2nd up to 6600 with my cai / tune...

stock id say like 6100

 

But redline is 6250, when does the rev limiter kick in?[sm=dontgetit.gif]

I think stock it is....with a tuner that can be adjusted

 

yes brenspeed sets theres at 6900. so with there tunes you can get to that rpm but in a stock its 6250

 

6900! Damn! i was always curious to where they set it....i would just slowly try 100 more rpm at a time tell i got to 6500 which i thought was good enough....
Dose anyone actually shift that high?

 

just like there pulley set up, ford has a higher rpm that the car can take but they put it low and are over cautius. You will need a good tune so you dont lean out your fuel but yes i have gone that high.
