Default Tinted Headlight Covers...

I got a set, and put them on yesterday, then last night I went for a ride, and had to use the fogs, cause with the tinted cover on, it almost makes the headlights useless...

What do you guys do that have these?? Do you take them off at night? Really I wouldn't have a problem with them, and using the fogs for around town/highway driving, but last night I was tooling around on some unfamiliar dark back roads, and really couldda use my brights....

Just wondering what ya'll do?

I've been wondering the same thing, my body guy really wants to tint my headlights and tails when he paints the rest of the car, but I'm concerned with how well I will be able to see since driving country roads is a must where I live. I'm not too big on the idea since it is pretty permanent.

yeah they are the GTO snap on ones...so taking them on/off is a 30 second process...just a PITA...Plus, though they snap on, it really isn't atight fit so I was thinking of putting on a little peice of doubble sided tape, but now I'm thinking that I don't wanna do that cause it make the headlight pretty much non useable

I have the GTO ones also and only install them for shows. They kill the lights at night.

The headlight covers are for show purposes only and are actually illegal in new york... I got a ticket for them in the bright of day...

Mine are a film and allow enough light to pass through that they aren't useless.

I have the GTO ones but they dont stay put so I never use them, but when I did the fogs gave me enough light.
