Garage Cover
I ran a search and didnt really find what I was looking for...
I will be keeping my pony in my garage in extremely dry weather (Phoenix) so corrosion is really not an issue. Now, I want to keep the dust off of her, so, I am thinking about getting a cover. Since she wont be covered outdoors, where the wind will work the cover over the paint, do I need to get an expesive cover or can I go with a cheap one?
Has anyone had a bad experience with an inside parked car using a cheap cover ?

get a decent cover. some cheap ones might leave fine scratches in the paint. you bought a nice car so why not keep it that way. spend a little extra and get a good cover. i have the california car cover called a "noah". its fits perfect.
In my experience, unless you are creating a lot of dust and airborne particles due to your in-garage activities, you are probably better off without the cover. Just go over the car with a California Duster once a week. If you have to use a cover, I would go with one of the custom fit, soft, 100% cotton covers designed for indoor storage (check out California Car Covers). The cotton fabric is easy on the finish, breathes well, andis washable (a dirty cover is worse than no cover).
Take a look at a good indoor cover. They're usually inexpensive, and provide really good coverage for the cars if all you're looking at is dust protection and the occasional cat jumping on the car to walk across it.
My dad's got one for the '67 Jaguar, which is fairly thick and soft; feels like 1/4" felt material. I *think* it's DusTop material (which, if you're using it for indoor use only, is ideal) but without being able to look at it (I'm at work and the car cover's at home) I'm not sure.
AJ USA has indoor car covers thatare~$150 for Dustop material, which has a great rating for dust and minor dings/dents, and will give you a custom fit rather than one of the universal fits which always seem to drape over the car like a giant tent.
I bought a couple of car covers through AJ, and they're all good people, not to mention that they seem to have the cheapest prices on the car covers that I've seen out there on the web.
