Delete Plates
Group, I have 05 Mustang GT with Kooks long tube headers, C&L Intake, SCT tune, 4:30 gears and SLP exhaust. I wanted to know if anyone has the Delete Plates for their Intake Manifold installed. If so, do you really see a difference with them. Is this a worthwhile performance item?

When I spoke to the guys at Brenspeed about installing CMCV delete plates I was advised they are only good for highly modified engines with cams, head work etc. If you are running stock heads with no NOS they told me not to install them.I know there are many threads about CMCV delete plates. Most people have reported a loss of low end power with the deletes installed but some top end power gains. This is what I was told, so I decided to delete them from my shopping list for now.

from most the post i have seen everyone is very happy with themand have gains of about 10hp,although there were rumors of low end loss of power no one has felt any major differences that ive heard of...its a cheap mod 100 bucks or so for 10 hp
