Default New question

Thanks to everyone for the input regarding new tires.
Unfortunately, due to financial reasons, I went with the Pzero's again.
Maybe next time I can go for something nicer.

Having said that, wouldn't you know that I suddenly came into a little extra money after the tires were put on, and am thinking of going for an aftermarket exhaust.

I'm going with Flowmaster's, and I'm trying to decide if I should get the 40 or 50 series.

My understanding is the 40 series probably has more of the sound I'm looking for, but maybe they're too loud.
I'm also concerned about drone with these.

Second part is, is there a noticable difference in performance gains between the 40 and 50 series?

At this time I'm leaning towards the 50 series, so as to avoid excessive drone, and not overly annoy the neighbors, but I would like your input.

Thank you.

no performance gain with either. All just sound preference.

How much did you get the PZeros for. They are really just about the same if not more than Nittos, Kumho or even BFGs???

$129 apiece.
Seemed like the best deal for all season performance z rated tires.

So, do you think the 40 series will be so loud that they attract undo attention fron LEO's, and do you think the highway drone will be too annoying?

Well, being the impetuous person that I am, I've made my decision.
I am going with the Flowmaster Delta Flow series 40.
I'll have them installed this Friday, and I'll let you know how I like them.

unless you have an off-road pipe (no cats), the Flows aren't going to be loud. Mine was barely louder than stock with the American Thunder Axleback (louder than 40 series). Took off the cats and it's about 80x louder...

Well, the mufflers are on.
OMG!
My car sounds so beastly now.
I expected a better sound, but I wasn't sure how noticable it would be.
This is so far beyond my expectations.
I haven't had the stereo on at all since they were installed, just enjoying the rumble.
Must have gone through 3/4 tank of gas just driving around.

The best part is driving by ricers and watching them put their tailpipe between their legs and run.
Okay, so maybe I'm imagining that last part.

If you need to buy tires again and are going to put the same one's your car came with. Check out Brenspeeds new car take-offs 4 P-zero's are like $299. Would have saved over two hundred smackeroo's, enough to put on UDP's.

No gain differance at all... The flows 40 series will drone a little bit but nothing all that bad... just speed up/ slow down about 5 MPH and it'll go away
