The car looks great. You did an excellent job, but I have some bad news for you.... You'll never be finished; it's an addiction!

Thanks to all of you! You all have great cars as well!

odiaz - You're right, it's a freakin drug! I went to Alliance247 yesterday to debut the car and hood to them, and they turned me on to their newest product, front glass fenders with vents. They wanted to put them on the car with their hood, so, Twist my arm! This is the first set they've manufactured, so I'll get them painted and put on the car. I am working closly with them and will have the car at their SEMA booth this year.

vocoat - That looks real purdy right there!!

rattsj - The crank pully has been taken care of. That "shink" part is the coolant crossover that replaces the factory pipe that is under the stock plenum. It was polished for me by the great folks at Whipple along with the blower. It was done for me by them for the mag pics.

techman - I was at Alliance247 yesterday, and they said their website is temporarily down being redone. It will be back up asap. They can be reached at (714)451-1444

mygt500 - Thanks so much for the"vote"! I appreciate it.

jettaflavor - Including the HO intercooled Blower setup, I have right around $9500 under the hood, plus all the other stuff on the car and paint.

Ok guys, like I said, I was at Alliance247 yesterday, and they showed me their brand new functional ram air Roush hood. It is one badass looking piece! It sells for $499, and comes completely gelcoated top and bottom, and is ready for prep and paint. It is a direct bolt on like all of their hoods are. Since their website is temporarily down, anyone interested can reach them at (714)451-1444, or you can email Mike@alliance247.com . Their website should be back up very soon.

Mossmustang.com has them. They are $249.95, and includes 9 fittings.

There's only one thing I can see that would make it look better, clear corner lights all around. If not all the way, at least thefront bumper lights because they look f'n sweet.

Here are the front bumper lights..

Rear side clears....

ORIGINAL: Scotte28516

I have finally got the car pretty much completed. The new Shelby GT functional ram air hood has finally been painted and put on, and I have replaced all of the fluid caps and the dipstick handle with the brand new billet stuff from Scott Drake. The Truefiber hoodwas supplied by my sponsor, www.Alliance247.com. It is a great quality hood, with no flexing or lifting at high speeds. It is a direct bolt on using the factory OEM hardware. I did have to trim the inside air opening to fit my CAI, which is a bit larger than most, and is steel framed. I have put an edge trim on it, though. The only thing left to do when I get energetic enough, is to hide most of the wiring harnesses that are on the top of the engine. It looks real clean when it's done, but it's amajorpain in the ***! A good polishing and waxing over the next couple of days, and it'll be ready for the Knott's Fabulous Fords show this Sunday.

I have never seen that hood before? Thats a Shelby Gt hood? Kinda reminds me of maybe a Gt 500 hood? But not a Shelby Gt. Looks good though............That blower look's sweet too!

You're car looks really nice. I don't know much about the engine area of cars in general, but I really like how the Scott Drake Dress up kit looks. Tempted to purchase it for myself, but I don't have anything else under the hood to show off, but still thinking about it.
