It has much more room than it looks...Far more than the 04 and previous even thought of having...However, dont plan on putting ANYONE in the back seats. Im 6 foot and with my seat all the way back, theres about 2 inches till I hit the rear seat, but hey its an 05 stang, you should have a chick in the passenger seat and NOT her best freind in the back...Go test drive one, I love mine!

i'm 6'3 225 and fit perfectly fine in my 04 GT. seeing as how the 05 has more room, you shouldn't have a problem.

This is the new body style and it's here to stay

The convertible will be out spring of 2005 with the SVT and/or Special Edition models following in late 2005-2006. Ford has completely redesigned and engineered nearly every part of this new Mustang. They will have to keep it around at least until the tooling and launch costs are paid for. The previous platform (FOX3) was basically unchanged since 1979. The body panels and interior pieces were changed, but the chassis was the same for 26 years! Just go and see a 2005 GT in person (and drive one if you're that lucky) and then you can decide. I crawled into the back seat of the one I saw at a dealership... it was tight, but not impossible (I'm 5'-10", 185 lbs). I could still haul my family of four around with me...
