I have heard conflicting reports about the availability of the GT500KR hood, so I am attempting my own KR hood by modifying my fiberglass version of the GT500 hood. It will be done in fiberglass and rivited and blended into the hood when I am finished.

What you see in the pictures is the clay mock up that I will create the mold from. Don't judge it too harshly yet....I just started.

Yeah that's a decent hood, but there is no opening in the front like a GT500 hood. Also, if you look on my hood or the real GT500KR hood, you can see that the arch of the pillars next to the headlights lines up with the scoop on top.
