Default !@%&*%#@ BMR relocation brackets

Do they test fit their parts or measure thehardware they send? Spacers 1/2" tool long, bolts 1/2" too short, crappy instructions,no warnings, like if you drop $30 @ Ford for special order nuts and bolts for LCA axle end, they will be too short. Had to jimmy every hole to line them up. , Unless you are slammed you don't need twosets of holes, Instructions say start with lower set first, NOT. Should have went CHE. Turned a two hour job into six.
I feel better now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

+1 VWILLO. I just got finished installing mine, and the spacers had to be cut. That suprised me, because these kits are made for these cars.

Thanks for the warnings! I HATE custom made kits that need CUSTOMIZING!!! No need for me to make that purchase!

Mine went in just fine. Just need to weld them now.

Was planning on ordering these too as part of a kit. I don't think you are the first person here to comment that these needed some 'tenderizing' in order to fit properly.

Did you %&*!#@ to BMR? Would be interested to hear their response.

It really isn't that much customizing. Well worth the time and effort.

Mine went in fine as well, though the passenger side one was 1/4 too narrow so I had to hit the bracket 3 or 4 times with the lead hammer before they went right in. The benefit from them has faaaar outweighed the 45min install though. And yes, I am slammed and would not recommend them as necessary unless you are dropped a good bit.

My Che brackets went right on. I didn't have to widen any holes and the spacers fit perfectly. Sorry for your trouble. I had trouble with my BMR panhard rod because the instructions said 140 ft lbs and it was supposed to be 129. Well the spacer in the bushing bent on install and chewed up two sets of bushings.

Interesting, I had to cut about a 1/4" off each spacer as well. You'd think BMR would measure everything when making a kit. -Andrew

I did the BMR LCAs with relocation brackets a month or 2 ago and had the same problem. One of the brackets was actually bent and was too narrow to even fit the LCA. I had to bend it out to match the other bracket. Then the 2 spacers were WAY too long. I had to cut them both off and all i had to do that was a hacksaw. I've installed everything in my modlist on jackstands and the LCAs and relocation brackets were the biggest PITA just because of the adjusting that had to be done on both the bracket and spacers.
