It seems like I read several months ago about someone running 285/40 's not just out back but in the front too. Do you have any issues with clearance? Or power steering noise? It would be pretty sweet running deep dish all around, with fat rubber.

Could you post some pics please?

Thanx.

there is someone on here with steeda ultralites with 18x10 all the way around and a sportline drop with no issues. I know that steeda has a slightly different offset and that is proprietary info. I think it is less than 45mm though.

I ahve been asking this same question for months and you will get plenty of peole saying the widest rim and tire you can fit on the front is 255 on a 9 inch rim. And yet many people are running the GT500 that are 18x9.5 with no issues

RichnMO if you get a chance could you post a few different angle pics? Also could you tell much difference in ride height?

Thanx.

Here are a few pics. I didn't notice any difference in ride height. I would guess the tires are no more than 1/2" smaller diameter.

Im running 275's on the fronts on a 9 inch rim, no problem at all. I assume a 285 would be fine.

Thanks, looks great, I think I'll just go with the 275's instead of 285's.
