I was working under the hood last night and it just became apparent to me that the hood on my 07 is not madeof a steel. I have searched the site and even googled it but no real definitive answer. Anyone know what it is?Aluminum,composite or what? Thanks.

If you don't think your aluminum grab a magnet off your fridge & see if you can stick it to bottom of hood. I don't know how it could rust but it may oxidize.

 

I lost a bet with my son about hood material. He was right, its aluminum!
