Default Corsa A/B

If anyone is looking at the Corsa axle back system, I thought I would let you know that I just received mine today from one of our sponsors- LMPerformanceand they were on sale. I have been looking for months and kept seeing $650-$675, even on e-bay....but they are on sale for $590 with free shipping....I'm just another forum member trying to pass along good deals, just in case you thought this was a sales pitch!!

I hope to have them installed this weekend if I have time.....ok, I'm sure I'll make the time!!

Know how long they are on sale for? I'm really trying to decide between them, the GT's and the GTA's. I wasn't looking to pull the trigger immediately but maybe I will soon if the sale is going away.

I'm just affraid the Corsa's will be too quiet or not deep enough for me.

[align=left]+1 on the Corsa's, Deep rumble at idle, awesome at WOT. All with NO drone. Excellant build quality, beautiful polished 4" tips. I just wish they had been on sale last month when I got mine!

I've never heard anything bad about the Corsa's which has had me leaning towards them except that they were too quiet. I'm tempted to pickup a pair and if they are too quiet, sell them ... but seeing as they're one of the most expensive mufflers, I don't want to throw money around lightly :-P

[align=left]Well if it makes you feel any better, I went through the same thing! I started with Flowmasters, and even though the sound was good (level and quality) the drone was bad. The Pypes Violators I tried next were even louder, but still some drone. But I did like you said, sold the ones I didn't like. Sure I lost a few bucks, but there's just no substitute for hearing them on your own car. To bad you don't know anyone in your area who has the type you're considering, then you could hear them in person. For example last Sat. at the ShelbyFest I got to hear lots of different systems from SLP Loudmouths (plenty loud) to Corsa's (they do sound really nice from outside) Sound clips just don't do them justice! Good luck, keep us posted.

If you have an O/R H pipe, I would steer away from the Corsa's. I had Corsa's on my car with the stock H-pipe and it sounded great. I put an O/R h on and it sounded like a cross between a Harley, a riding lawnmower and one of the there hillbilly diesel trucks. And the drone with an O/R h was awful, no drone with stock setup though. Just my .02

Well I have the stock H pipe so that isn't an issue but it is good to know! I went to a cruise a couple weekends ago and heard the Corsa's with an X (he didn't mention if it was offroad or highflow or just X) and they sounded pretty good. I heard the GT's there too but it's hard to really wrap your head around the sound with so many cars and without hearing the drone while driving too.

Luv my Corsas! And yes, the note outside the car sounds MUCH better than inside. I never was able to really appreciated the sound until someone else drove my car and I was standing behind it.

Corsa's are outstanding... You know you have a good sounding exhaust when people stop what they are doing in their yards to look up and watch you go by.

They soundbest with the top down...
