Default Corsa install, HELP!!

I got the passenger side in about 20 mins without jack stands or adjusting the h-pipe clamp. Now I moved over to the driver side, loosen the clamp on the muffler and the bolts on the tail pipe and I can't get the A/B to come off the pipe.....what do I do now? I have loosen the clamp all the way....without stands I can't get to the clamp in the middle of the car. is this the problem?

spray it down with some wd40 (weisel ****) let it sit and soak for about 10 minutes then tap firmly not wail on it with a lead shot hammer while try to lightly twist at the muffler. may take two or three shoots of wd to seap into the union.

Thanks...I'll go out and try that!!

PS: I know I'm not very mechanically talented, but how important is the torque wrench? Can I just tighten them really good

If you don't have the lead hammer, you can also put a 2x4 block on the entrance to the stock muffler and give it a few love taps that way to try and loosen it up. +1 to twisting too.

EDIT: I hope you read TacoBill's howto first https://mustangforums.com/m_3104526/tm.htm

I did read his post...it was very helpful. I finally finished my project....only 3 short hours later!! Most of that time was spent trying to get that one side to decide to loosen for me....Thanks for your help.

Good, and how do you like them? I'm thinking of pulling the trigger tomorrow on a pair.

EDIT: Just saw your answer in the Corsa A/B post.
