Default O2 CEL problem

Hello,

The CEL is lighted,on my GT 05.
I havethe Xcal2 to read the codeswith.
Trouble codes are P0135 and P0155.
I guess there is something with the lamdasonds? It should be the 2 rear ones, is it?

This is the thing.

I have installed JBA Long heders and a Borla Cat back. No cats.
Only the front O2 sensors is connected, as I guess should be ok.

I have read here that it should be possible to shut off the rear O2 sensors with the Xcal?

So, Are the codes for the rear O2 or?
And is it possible to fix this whit the Xcal?

Thanks
Daniel

Cant do it with the SCT. You will have to have your tuner or Brenspeed or B ama turn them off.

Those are fronto2 sensors codes, not the rears. Make sure they are connected properly.

The P0135 and P0155 diagnostics are testing for the correct level of O2 sensor heating current during the engine warm-up phase. The likelyhood that both sensors would develop the same problems in their heaters at the same time is probably pretty low. Have you tried resetting the DTCs? According to my info, the DTCs are set after two successive start-ups where the heater current is out of range and resets after three start-ups without a fault. I would suspect something other than the sensors themselvesis causing the DTCs to set. First, I would try resetting them.

I have reset the dtcs many times. But it will come back. Is it possible that when previous owner mounted the long tubes he braked the O2s. He connected the two rear ones to the front ones.Soallsensors where connected to the fronts.I have now only the front ones connected. Daniel

Default RE: O2 CEL problem

Today I tested to change the front sensors and replaced with the rear ones I am not using.
I still got the problem.

P0135 CIR 1 S2 on one DTC (Drivers side, rear sensor??)
and
P0155 CIR 2 S1 on the other. (Passenger side, front sensor??)

Is it possible the cables are connected wrong?
There are four cables. Black, Grey, White,White on the sensors.
Prev owner did cut the cables and connected those. I know the Black and Grey cables are correct. The white I donĀ“t know.
Is it possible he can have connected these oneswrong?

Can something other than the sensors have braked when all four sensors where connected to two?
It start feels like I need to go to a Fordshop soon.

Hope someone can help me.
Daniel

Make sure the color of the front o2 sensors wires are green. It's possible that the rear o2's have been installed in the front o2 bungs and plugged into the front o2 harness. The front o2's and the rear o2's aren't interchangeable, they have differentroles that they play. The front o2's with the green wires monitor your closed loop air/fuel ratio and report to your pcm. The rear o2's have white wire harness and they monitor catlytic converter efficiency, but with longtube headers andhi flo cats or o/r setup requires to have the rear o2's turned off in the tune. Do you have a cai/tune on the car.
