So I tried to charge my phone while driving today, but when I put the phone charger in either of the powerpoints the LED on the charger doesn't light up, meaning there's no juice.

I looked in the manual and says not to put anything in there besides a cigarette lighter, which I found peculiar since there is no cigarette lighter

Is there some trick to this? When I had a Sentra, I could only charge my phone with one of the DC sockets. Any insight is appreciated.

 

No trick for me. Plug and play Check your fuses maybe.

 

Check the fuse inside the phone charger end, some chargers have a small fuse you can change out.
