I just put the MRT's on mine. No rattles so far, and they can be opened to clean the glass.

Yeah those are Astra Hammond ones. Extensive thread over at http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=61067
I've only driven mine a couple of times since installed. No rattles. I was missing some nylon nuts out of the box, I called WIllPak (Astra's parent co.) and they UPS'ed out an entirely new hardware kit. Free shipping too. Sorry no pictures yet.

Thanks for all the help guys, I really appreciate it.

just 2 more questions for those with the aluminum astra-hammonds:

1. how easy is the install?
and
2. how easy are they to pop off when I need to clean under them?

I think he means the rear window, not the rear quarter windows. I want those though.

ARRRRGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would not....speaking from experience here is whathas happened to me...went through one that uses fabric that slosh back in forth over your car....guess...what....they get to the louver and one time the material caught in the slat and I swore it sounded like it broke my entire window...so I fixed the one latch that got damaged.....next time....I went to just a water wash.....all good until ..went through the hurricane force air dryer.....blew just right and enough toto lift it up and slam back down (high pressure water caused the latch to unhook.....so I would say....NO....

ok so if I decide that a machine will clean my baby, it'll be a touchless one for sure and the louvers will be off....

I've decided on the aluminum Astra-Hammonds. Can't beat that look in my book

btw, cheftjpeck, is that the Collins blvd or Crescent hill parking garage?
