they take away about 5-8hp. A compromise some are willing to take for the look that is achieved

Thats not bad. Also it takes away from the ride.... If you change out the suspention can you make it feel like you have 18s when you really have 20s?

Yeah, in all fairness, the 20s do take away from the ride, but not by much at all. With the suspension, as you mentioned, such as adjustable shocks and struts, you can make it ride smoother than stock as long as you dont really go lower than a 35 series tire. better handling and cosmetics ;-)

it won't ride as smooth as stock, no way. not with rubber band tires.

Weld Racing - Forge Stars 20 x 9, one piece forged- they are similar to the Roush wheels, but they have a 2.5' lip.

my stang is my daily driver. How dothe guys with chrome wheels hold up. Because my stock wheelsget an occasional scratch from rocks and stuffand i get pissed. I cant imagine aftermarket chrome wheels. I would flip every time there was a scratch

You just have to learn not to curb it. Same thing if youre lowered, or have a front spoiler, you learn to stay away from parking blocks.
