Default Side Decals

Have any of you had this experience? Its a 2005 with 16000 miles. I gave it a bath at an automatic car wash and presto no more driver’s side sticker! I have spoken to the car wash owner who stated he would replace it, but I think it wasn't applied correctly. I spoke to the dealership and they said that they would take a look to determine if it was a “defect” and place new ones on there. I am debating even putting them back on the car. I will have a few days to see how it looks without any decals because they have to order the new ones. Is anyone out there running with no decals?

I did the stripe delete because I wanted to do something else. My car wash guy said his new pump was 1300psi and took off stripes. He turned it down to 1050psi and it's ok now, but I still keep it moving and at least 18 inches away.
