Default 3M Clear Bra

Anyone have this clear stuff put on your car? I purchased a kit on e-bay, but can't find anyone to install it, and I'm afraid I'll really screw it up.

The place that tinted my windows also did the clear bra. Maybe someone local does the same?

I bought a kit and managed to install it myself. I saved alot of money by doing it myself and it worked out pretty good.

Thanks, I'll check into the PDR guys. Has anyone had any problems with it at all? I want to get the car striped, do you think it'll be a problem to put over the stripes?

Hello,

I am a 3M certified installer in TN. For the most part certified installers only install their own kits not someone elses, that is where you run into a problem. You mabey able to find someone to install but it may be difficult. Ebay is mainley fordo it self people. If you get it installed you will not be disappointedit is a very good product and does wonder at protecting your car. As for as the stripe question ,you will want to put a good coat of wax on the stripe and make sure that all wax residue is gone. Before you apply the film to the car you will need to degrease the part on the car that the film is being applied to. DO NOT DEGREASE THE STRIPES only the paint. If you have to replace the film down the road it will remove easier form the stripes and you will more than likely not have to redo the stripes. Hope this helped.
