Well the H will sound slightly deeper & the X will be a little more raspy + you'll get like 3 RWHP with the X... I guess it's based on what sound you are looking for and weather or not you care about the 3 HP.

Personally it depends on the sound you are going for...the HP increase is marginal and I highly doubt that you would feel the HP increase on an x pipe vs. an h pipe. JMO but there are threads that say you do get more flow with the x pipe and therefore potential HP gains.

An X-pipe is more efficient than an H-pipe. The effectiveness of an H-pipe is lost at higher rps. The difference in performance isn't huge but it's there and every little bit helps. As for sound that is purely subjective.

I'd like some help too, I want it to sound muscular, don't really care about HP, what should I go with?

You guys take the time to post "search" but can't just give an answer?? Idk.

Well the problem is that we can't tell you what sound you would like. You have to hear it for yourself, and it's quicker to just do a search and find different threads, and maybe even some sound clips. I'm not trying to be a d!ck, but it honestly is faster to just do a search.

ill post this simple yet sweet...

h=musclecar sound...while x=exotic type sound

and unless you are looking for every little power gain you can 3 rwhp is not that much of a difference...you really wont be able to really feel it...if you drive another mustang on the lot you can have 2 different cars totally stock with same # of miles and one may have 270rwhp while the other has 265rwhp...and you wont be able to tell a difference
