well...first off...i have an automatic and i was at mcdonalds the other day in the drive-thru and i was in park and i put my change (like two quarters and one nickel) in the little black shifter thing that slides (dont know what its called) and i put the carr in drive without thinking and the change slid under the shifter what can i do to get it out???

pop the plastic piece off man and take the change out.

how do you pop it off???and are you talking about that black ring around the shifter

yea the entire ring.

it just pops off.

use a slotted screwdriver...(flat head)

Worst case you might have to remove the center console. The console comes off pretty easy. Open the center glove box and you will see two screws. Remove them and lift the console up at the back.
BTW- didn't anybody tell you? McDonalds does NOT SELL FOOD!!! That stuff will kill ya!!!

to lazy to cook...and i wanted to go driving...so the greasy fries were worth it...but the change stuck wasnt

It shouldn't cause a problem. The change should just fall to the "bottom" of the console area. If it's not rattleing let it go.

^^^if it were up to me i would have gotten a stick...but my parents basically bought the car for me so im lucky i even have a gt ...(im 16 also
