LOVE BUGS AAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Don't know the severity of the problem in all 50 states but here in louisiana they are bad. I wanted to pass on some good info on removal. I ride sportbikes and was introducted to this cleaner called kawasaki wipe down. It comes in a spray can and canbe bought at any cycle shop for about 7.00 a can. I have tried all the tricks but this stuff is sent from heaven. It is the easiest and most user friendly stuff I have ever used. Spray on wait 2-3 min. wipe with soft cloth and then buff with microfiber rag. Not only do the bug guts come off with ease but it leaves a wax coat to boot. I have been using this stuff for years on my bike and my X truck(pre mustang days). It's awsome I get rid off all guts everyday in 5 mins so to save my paint. It also works on much more road smegma that the average wash wont take care of. Well there ya go have fun keeping those paint jobs clean.
PEACE!!!!!!
PEACE!!!!!!
Egh.......I've just about decided that I'm not driving the GT anywhere until those damn things are gone. I just hope they don't hang around for over a month like they did last year.[:'(]
God, I think those things aggravate me more than the mosquitos do.

west florida reporting in and they are starting to get bad here as well....HATE THEM>....just put a coat of meguiars wax on my car last week...now its bug paradise....HATE IT....
My brother and another friend of mine was telling me the other day that wet down fabric softer sheets takes the buggers off really well. I have heard that one before, but I hadn't tried it yet. I cleaned the GT up real nice Sunday and she has remained in the driveway since, so I'll have to test this idea out the next time I have to swim thru the love bugs.
I'm thinking I might get some old school paste wax to coat down my frontend and bumper this up coming weekend. I don't like the idea of those things cooking onto my paint in the hot sun in between washes.
