Default Aftermarket rotors. Rust?

Question for you guys with aftermarket rotors installed, do they rust like the factory rotors. I'm not talking about the rotor hat area, but the rotor surface area. I stay busy these days cleaning the inside of my wheels, because the aftermarket wheels have more visable area than the stock 17's.

Unfortunately they do. I have had aftermarket brakes on my last three stangs, and they were just as bad.

I would assume this is inherent to the fact that putting any sort of non-rust coating on the rotor would 1) we worn off once you use the brakes, and 2) kill your braking power (i.e.: make the surface too smooth). [&:]
