i have a deluxe v6. i got aftermarket red seats but i dont have the red leather on the door panels. the door panels look a little too plain like this.

i saw some brushed aluminum ones on ssinserts.com and these ones here

but im not completly sold on them cuz there "brushed aluminum" and i have a "double brushed" aftermarket IUP.i know its probably a small differnce in appearance but sometimes a small difference really looks stupid and can stick out like a sore thumb.

does anybody have these inserts, and can you get them in a different finish?
please post some pics if you have this mod or if you have any suggestions let me know

don't know if i like the look of those to much, theres someone on here that used some sort of red material that stuck to the door to dress it up. don't know where he got it from, hopefully somebody will pop up who knows more about it.

 

dunno if i like it either.

to the OP, that's what you should get. or just the trim from the link... or both! lol.

 

If you didn't try to put new material on yours, you could buy the aluminum and paint that with like a tranparent pearl red etc. Or order the panels you want from Ford. The offset insert color really makes a difference.

 

I got mine from www.yourautotrim.com very inexpensive. Cost less than $14.00 including shipping and I got a lot of extra material in case I made any mistakes.

just use the welt piping to break up the interior, dont get the red panel. i think it will look cooler.
