Can I find out build date using VIN?

Is it possible to find out build date on the internet using the VIN?

If so, how so?

Building date/month is on the door quarter panal. Thefinishdate is on the lower right on the window sticker. It takes appx. 7-8 weeks to build from very start to finish. One month into build the VIN# is assigned and made to ordered specs. I don't see what else you'd need.

Hi Cary, Make sure you tell them you want the sticker. Before it comes in or they'll tear it off into pieces.

Can you tell me where in the process mine is in. 1ZVHT89S875351892 Dealer told me it was supposed to be built 5/7/07.

I am sure the law requires the dealer to leave the sticker with the car, it belongs to the buyer.
