Default Lowered rides and LT headers?

Now that ive got the extra boost of the Saleen S/C, i want a deeper meaner exhasut sound and a little extra HP and tourqe wont hurt. Ive heard the LT headers take away more ground clearance. Right now ive got Eibach sportline springs, anyone forsee problems begin this low? Anything i can do besides changing springs? How important are new motor mounts?

From what I've heard, most of the LT's aren't very much lower than the frame on the car. Here are some pictures
of another member's car from another forum who put the American Racing LT's on his car. His car is lowered 1.5" with the FRPP springs.

I've heard problems with LT hearder clearance, but not ground clearance but with the steering shaft. I had problems with my FRPP shorties when making a hard right turn. It rubs againts the shaft but fixed it by installing the Steeda HD engine mount. My only problem with ground clearance is my Bassani (catted) x-pipes when I used Pro-kit by Eibach. To fix it, I changed my springs to Roush (front and back) I don't know about the Sportlines. I'ts obviously lower than the pro-kit. Check around first so you wont have to do it twice.

I was running Kooks L/T’s with catted x-pipe and I use Steeda springs. I didn’t have many problems but the cats are a little lower than the frame rails and once I scraped the pass side slightly on a very steep drive entrance that I didn’t take at an angle. That was the only time I had a problem during about 4 months of driving with them.

WhiteStallion, you have any sound clips of the kooks and side exhasut? Thats what id love to eventually end up with. If I go with side exhaust i know the sportlines are gonna have to go.

I had BBK long tubes on my '04 Cobra. They hung too low for lowering the suspension

Do it. I have the Kook's LT's and the Eibach Prokit. No problems. The cats hang about an inch lower than the frame.
