Default Question about rims

I already searched the forums, but couldnt get my question awnsered. I'm trying to buy 19"s for my stang because 18"s are to small and 20"s look to big. The problem when Im looking at all these 19"s, nobody states what kind of car they fit on. How can I tell if a certain wheel will fit on my stang?

you need to look at the bolt spacing and make sure it's 5x4.5 or 5x114.3. also look at the offset to make sure it will fit on our cars. stock offset is 45 mm, so stay in that range. this post might help https://mustangforums.com/m_3067833/tm.htm. also, do you wantstaggered rims[wider in the back than the front]? some folks go 8-9 inches wide in the front and 10 inches wide in the rear, or other variations. this link will help you get an idea of what to look at when shopping: http://www.bigcustomwheels.com/info_specs.jsp

ah, yes Rodeo, thank you for that correction.

18's are too small? Have you ever seen 18's on a S197 in person? It looks freakin awesome.

Pantera, That's one awesome looking car you have there. What brand are your wheels?

BTW, I think 18" is plenty big enough.

then lower your car and get lower profile tires.... 275/40 as an example

keep in mind the bigger rim/tire will slow your car a bit as well...

Jen, the wheels are the 18x9 & 18x10 deep dish chrome bullitts from www.americanmuscle.com. Tires are Nitto555's: 295/45/18 in back and 255/45/18 on front.

I was going for the oldschool "raked/jacked up"look instead of the "in the weeds" look that everybody else has. I wanted to be unique
