Default Hungry Mustang

Ok so this is going to sound really stupid but here it is... Tonight on the way home from the gym my cell phone fell out of my pocket and under the seat (no I wasn't trying to use it while driving). Anyway I tried to get it out from under the drivers seat and was unable to reach it. So my buddy decided to try to help sense he has smaller hands and somehow my phone ended up going into the small metal hole nder the drivers seat.I think he was tryingto grab it and it slid forward. The hole is in the front andseems to be part of the frameand also seems to be how they run power to the power seat.Has anyone else had this happen?? Is thier any way to get it out without removing the seat? If I have to remove the seat does anyone have the directions to do so? Thanks in advance for your help. And yes this gets the moron of the day award.

um.... if you go to an empty parking lot and floor it in reverse, then slam on the brakes, do you think it might dislodge?

I tried a hanger and a butter knife already. It isn't even really stuck it is just in the hole wereI can't reach it. The opening is too small for my hands. Also I think it is too the side of the opening because I tried to gun it to get it to fly to the back seat with no luck.

Something with a magnet maybe? Don't batteries have magnetic properties?

Try one of those flexible grabbers. My Razr did something similar (although it didn't fall into this hole that you're talking about) and I couldn't reach it. I used a flexible grabber tool and was able to snake it in there and grab it out. It's worth a shot...

The seat only has four bolts holding it on, the rear has two covers that will pop out if you just pull back, once the bolts are exposed you can unbolt the seat and gain access. I removed my seats to install a trunk button because the job required removal of the center console.
