Default just ordered it

I finally was able to order my long awaited Hurst Competition Plus Shifter. I should have it within a week and a half. And more good news, the Flowmaster American Thunder muffler will be going in on Wednesday.

Partsbill, nice pic.... Love the old school look of that shifter ****. Not sure I could use that. Old skiing accident limits me on shifter comfort.[sm=smiley18.gif] My billet Roush shifter doesn't seem to hurt much but the ball type that they sell doesn't sit as well with my hand so I'm limited on shifter types. Love the pics!!!!!

Besides its goreat looks, I really need to get that as one of my next mods because I am really sick of getting lost in no mans land trying to go into 3rd and being embarassed. I wonder if it is just me or is 3rd a pain in the a$$ to get into under hard accel?

I think its a combo of practice/timing and a better shifter from all the posts I've read. 3rd gear has been at issue for decades so if you can find a well made shifter and get the timing down things should improve.. I've heard good things about this shifter on other threads.
