In the body shop. Got a new spoiler and a few paint chips taken care of. Then had them shoot the whole car with 3 coats of clear...heres a few pic.

 

why would u get a new clear coat on there?

I bet the 2 weeks felt more like 2 months. I'm gettting mine back from the body shop after 3 weeks of waiting... Your car looks great. Love the spoiler. Any bigger pictures?

 

Because the stock paint and clear is very thin. The extraclear gives it a lot more protection ..plus....Show Time Shine!

Ahh yes, I remember the stress-free good ol' days.

 

Regardless if daddy paid for it or not the reclearing of the car will give it more depth and shine in the end. 1600 dollars is not bad. Other than the small pics you gave did they do a great job and are there any flaws in the reclearing? Just curious....there is such a thing as detailing for show and that takes many hours and an experienced person to do it. I know it costs alot and was wondering if that was included in the cost of clearing the car.
