It was my understanding that some of the auto equiped s197's came with an open diff and the tloc was an option. I believe the tloc and 3:55's are std equipment in the manual.

they all come with the t-lock. people talk about new ones because the Ford one doesn't last very long.ever hear of the "one wheel peel"? lol

well I have a manual, and my gears are 3.31's.

Yeah, just reading another post and in 07 ford made the standard gear choice with both tranys 3.31 and the 3.55 optional. Seems they'll do anything to help their fleet mileage...

Didn't know that. It is listed with my other optional equipment along with the auto tranny at a cost of $645.
