Default A New Ipod Question

So as everybody asks, I ahve the Shaker 500 and want to use the AUX ofr the iPod. I was thinking of getting the peripheral so i could use the HU to control it, but i have a ton of artists and thought that would be a pain to use. I want to just use a headphone jack wire that maybe comes out at the drink holder. Does best buy, circuit city, etc. do that. Could i do it myself. ANy suggestions?

Default RE: A New Ipod Question

What you need is an iPod interface that allows you to play your ipod via RCA jacks to the AUX of your Shaker 500. P.I.E makes the AUX-FRD03 and this will allow you to use a mini plug to RCA cable and send the audio to your iPod. Additionally, there's a really trick iPod adaptor, the TransPod, that plugs right into the 12 volt jack on your dash and allows the iPod to be right in front and the mini-plug can then run right to your Shaker 500. I'll send you pictures upon request, this website is not allowing me to save images (error saving to disk).
