So the guys in the chop shop did this for me

Now I'm leaning toward getting it

Questions though: How easy are the vinyl ones to remove? And why do the magnetic ones cost so much?

As you can probably tell, I'm leaning toward a magnetic or vinyl decal type one, because from what you nice people have said, they are removable if I change my mind later.
I have the vinyl and I'm happy with it. I disagree with those who say vinyl looks cheap. Painted is more durable, but it's also permanent. If you get the vinyl and don't like it, it's easy to remove. It just peels off like a strip of tape but leaves no residue. I recommend that you buy the rear deck delete from our sponsor, Baltimore Street Mods. Rob is good folks. It's only $20, so if you don't like it, you haven't lost much.

BTW, here's my Photoshop attempt to show you what it will look like. I think it looks better to line up the top of the black panel with the crease in the trunk lid.

There is a paint out that has the flat black look to it. Most of the Rat Rod guys are using it to paint there cars.

You should be able to get it painted for a couple hundred bucks. Well worth it in my opinion

I've heard bad stuff about "magnetic" stuff.

Like it pulls off the paint when you go to remove it.

Some guy at the dealer I go to had a magnetic Red Sox logo on his hood.

When he went to trade it in they took the logo off and it took the paint off in places and reacted with the paintso that under the logo it was also discolored...

Trade-in value dropped a bit I would say...

Get the magnetic one to get the feel for it. Once you decide, sell it for 20 bucks, its what I did.
After having it on for a while I got so use to it that when removed I hated it.
Now I have it painted, and love it.

1st pic was with the magnetic one when I was installing the slotted tail light covers
2nd pic is painted.

Magnets will also mess up electronics.

Honestly, the magnet is nothing more than a big piece of what you find on photo-mount refrigerator magnets. I was considering cutting mine up and using it over a few of my home heat-register grates. They were selling something similar on QVC.

I thought so! Problem here is I don't have the money for a someone to paint it.

Then wait until you can do it right. Your car looks perfect from the pictures and this magnet's flaws will be exaggerated by the white.

I went with the smooth, flat black like the matte finish. I think it would look sexy with your white car and match your back window and stripes
