Off the chart INTERIOR upgrades!!!
Y:eah, I'm curious too!! I went to the Ford dealership to find out how much the California Special carbon fiber pieces would be, and as he got to the area where the airbag it, he said that is a full set, I'd have to buy a new airbag to go with that...I was like....no. So I'm curious where those came from myself!
Thank you guys very much for the kind words! I built the car for show and go. Regarding the "GO" part of it, I get my feedback from the dyno coming in at 478 rwhp and 450tq and a track slip of 11.52 seconds in the 1/4 mile. For the "SHOW" part, I rely on people's feedback. It's nice to hear the reassuring comments. Of course I can't do what everyone likes because opinions vary wildy. I focused on what I like, tried not to over-do anything, keep it somewhat clean and classy looking. Obviously there will be some people that still think I over-did it and others still that think I should do more like vertical doors and stuff. I've really about finished with the car and have it where I want it now. I'm not doing anything with the trunk. It's clean but I don't show it. All of the audio is in the car so that is the show area. I like the look better with the trunk and hood closed anyway. I can't leave the hood closed at shows cause everyone wants to see in.
The chrome trim: Is from Woodcorp. It is called Woodview 3D Molded. The funny thing is you won't see the chrome version advertised anywhere. Much of what I did in the interior was custom or at least the first the vendor offered after my request. I called Woodcorp to ask if they would consider making the Woodview 3D Molded kit in chrome for me (usually money talks). I was surprised to hear they already had it! The only way to get it is to call one of their listed re-sellers from their web page, tell them you want that kit in chrome and they can order it.The kit is very high quality, fits perfect and is very complete with the exception of the steering wheel and shifter. The shifter would be near impossible to cover but you can order the steering wheel trim separately. Here is a link http://www.woodcorp.com/product_page...t=FO-MUSTG05BF
Disclaimer: No doubt the kit looks great! I get lots of comments on it at the shows. But you know how irritating the bright glare is from the sun if you use Armor-All on the dash? Well, imagine looking at the sun through a mirror while trying to drive! With all of that chrome all over it is difficult to get away from the glare! I'll get a picture of the center console and post it up.
Thanks again for the comments, you guys are great! By the way, I'll have the car at the All-Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA next weekend and will probably be at the Fun Ford Weekend in Richmond, VA either June 23 or 24. If you are there, please stop by and say hi, tell me you're from the forum. -Joe

Hey Joe, I will be in Carlisle too! I can't wait to see your car! Are you going with a group? I will be with the group from MRT. Please let me know becuz I want to see your car for sure!
At Carlisle, I will be with the BMC (Bad Mustang Club) but I will have the car in the show field.
Here are a couple pics of the center console. The ***** on the AC are from MGW http://www.mgwltd.com/mustang_2005-present.shtmlTheir stuff is excellent quality! I also got that eject button from them and a bunch of caps in the engine compartment. The switch panel is from Speed of Sound http://www.speedofsoundllc.com/index.htmlalong with the A-Pillar gauge pod. As soon as they make the dash pod, I will replace my current pod for theirs. I have 2 ideas for the shifter but no final decision yet. The Pioneer double-DIN DVD has a reverse camera. When I put the car in reverse, it automatically shows from the rear, there isn't as much glare in the top pic. The Woodview 3D Molded Dash kit includes trim that goes on the stock stereo.

So do the trim pieces just stick on or do they replace the factory?
